Temporary Closure

This is to let everyone know that we will be temporarily closed until further notice.

On Wednesday March 19th we had a devastating snowstorm with high winds go through our area. Since about 10 am Wednesday morning we have been without power, phone or internet service. In fact, I was just able to get out after moving a lot of drifted snow yesterday and going into town today to get access to internet. There are quite a few power poles and power lines down in the area. Due to this we have been listed as a Disaster Emergency.

The city here as of today has about 80-90% of the power restored up from about 30% Wednesday. The Department of Utilities (DU) has stated that it will be another 2-3 days before power is restored to some areas and up to 2 weeks for others. Since we are in an outlier for the DU we are at present expecting to be the last to have power restored.

Due to this situation, you will not be able to reach us by phone. Email will be sporadic depending on when I come to town, so don’t expect a timely response. If you have work in the shop we won’t be able to do anything until power is restored. If you have sent something in for work we will be here to receive as long as the roads are passable for delivery personnel. If you order online then delivery times will be after we have power restored.
